Everyone was completely calm and comfortable even when Bentley was losing his mind. There was never any hesitation with any of the trainers. We started with a board and train session, then moved to weekly in-home sessions. After learning he had multiple behavior issues we knew we had bitten off a lot more then we could chew! Ray came to our home for an evaluation and with no hesitation started formulating a plan of action. I have a bleeding heart and couldn’t help but foster him. We had rescued Bentley from a friend of a friends post on Facebook with no intentions of keeping him. Fast forward just a few shorts months after us crossing paths with Alpha and Omega Working Dogs and our hope was restored. I was in the same spot with my pup this time last year. I truly can not thank them enough for what they did in those 14 days and i cant wait to continue with them and help our dogs become even better! More.Īre you at your wits end? Do you feel like giving up or that all hope is lost? Have you decided enough is enough? Well look no further! You could tell they truly cared about our dogs and that our dogs were so confident in what they were doing. We went on our honeymoon, and 14 days later we came back to dogs that could actually walk on a leash! They could heel, sit, down & stay, way longer then we thought they could ever do! Ray & Karli kept us updated with texts, videos and pictures along the way, which is a HUGE deal to me. Ray spent almost two hours with us and the dogs, as soon as we left we agreed this is the route we need to take. Our other Shepherd had no training and was WILD on the leash, so walks with our dogs were not able to happen without being pulled all over the place, and being embarrassed. Our one German Shepherd had training prior and totally shut down, and anything you told him would go in one ear and out the other. We took our two German Shepherds to Ray for a consult to see if the Board & Train option would work out for them. We were going on our honeymoon and we knew we didn't want our dogs to sit in a kennel the whole time while we were away so we were looking at options and came across Alpha & Omega Training. The progress that Ray and the other trainers have made with Olaf is amazing!! We still have a lot to learn but for the first time I know we will get there because of this Team!!! When they say you are now a part of their family that is the truth!! More. Every step of the way he makes sure to update you and teach you as well. Ray is absolutely a wonderful trainer and Olaf loves him. When I pick him up that night he sleeps like a rock !!! We also have gotten to experience their doggy day camp and that has done so much for my guy. So if you are reading this I highly recommend this !!it was such a great jump start on his training. He was treated absolutely wonderful and made new friends along the way. We got videos, pictures and updates along the way. I Was incredibly nervous about that and worried to say the least. We started on a specific training program for Olaf including a one week board and train. From that point on we had a plan and for the first time I actually felt some relief. she listen to me explain how stressful things were at home and that we just added another factor that was pushing us to the edge. It was getting so bad that I am ashamed to say we were thinking ( multiple times a day) of rehoming him. He would bark at everything and was so reactive to everything and everyone. We had a puppy that we were hoping to be an emotional support dog for our autistic twins.Īt the age of 6 months old we instead had a 100 pound uncontrollable puppy. I can’t express how grateful we are for Alpha and Omega.
